Not as good as his first

Timing is everything. When Slotboom wrote his first book, it was a revolution. There had not been much written about pot-limit omaha. And nothing on a similar short-stacking strategy. This book came out at the same time as a superior book from Jeff Hwang. Timing is everything.
Slotboom does a good job explaining that the 100 BB buy-in isn't always the best idea, and when you should change it up. He also has some unusual strategies in deep-stacked play.
However he doesn't get as deep into the situations as Hwang does in "Advanced Pot Limit Omaha". They touch on the same topics, but Hwang does a better job.
The high-limit hand review with Rob Hollink is interesting. You'll see him dissecting hands against players like OMGClayAiken, Urindanger and other well-known high-stakes internet regulars.
I would include this book if you're serious about PLO. If I had to choose, I would buy Hwang's in a heartbeat.
And on a minor note, it doesn't seem like Slotboom had a native English speaker copy-edit the book. I assume he wrote it in Dutch and had it translated. There are minor grammatical points that may be frustrating to picky readers.
